Quest and the London 11+ Consortium assessment

The London 11+ Consortium is a group of 13 London schools that share one entrance assessment, taken in Year 6. The Consortium says it designed the assessment with its test provider, Quest Assessments. This page explains the six parts, which are adaptive, and how the admissions year runs, based on the Consortium's own website.

What the assessment covers, in order
Maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning are adaptive: the questions are tailored to how your child performs. English, problem solving and the creative comprehension are not adaptive: every child sees the same questions on a given exam day, and the passages change from one exam day to the next.

There is a break of up to 30 minutes between English-and-reasoning parts and the problem-solving part. The test is taken online when the child is in Year 6, at their own school if possible, otherwise at any Consortium school. Results go to every school where the child is registered.

Register with the Consortium and with each school you want to apply to.
Assessment: 27 Nov, 1 Dec or 3 Dec
One shared assessment, on one of three exam days.
Offers 12 Feb; accept by noon 3 Mar 2027
Schools run their own interviews between the assessment and offers.
